ROTC Linden park cleanup 4-25-16

On 4-25-16 a squad of Naugatuck High School Jr. ROTC and its leaders cleaned the east bank, the Greenway Trail and Park. They removed a dozen bags full of light debris and one automobile wheel with tire. The comparatively small cleanup may be attributed to that cleanup being 12th in the last seven years. Each of the last seven years the ROTC has done a spring cleanup. And during many of those years completed a fall cleanup.

The ROTC and NRWA exhibited at the River Festival on Saturday April 30, 2016.

On 4/16/16  BSA Troop 140 Oakville  put up 15 bluebird house and 10 bee shelters, planted a variety of plants and cleaned the Naugatuck River west bank south of Huntingdon Ave. bridge in Waterbury.
